Description

With routes for all abilities and styles, it is the perfect gym in which to practice, hone and push your skills to the next level with the help of our RocUp coaches.

We will be staying at the Hotel Plaza in Masouri, arguably the best hotel on the island. It was refurbished recently and offers incredible sea views from the gorgeous pool and cliff top bar and we would love for you to stay with us too.

Please  contact us now for more information about this holiday and/or the Plaza Hotel to book your room now.

Flights

You must arrive on Saturday and let our team know by text/email. Aim to arrive in the day time, leaving plenty of time to catch the ferry. Most flights are via Athens. Please book your flights and send us the confirmation details so that we know when to expect you. Your RocUp Holiday will end on the following Saturday. If you wish to stay longer in Kalymnos please let us know. Some Kos flights are hand baggage only, we advise you to properly check your baggage allowance before booking- from our own experience!

Insurance

You must provide us with proof of relevant insurance. We recommend the BMC, visit:

https://www.thebmc.co.uk/insurance

We will also require you to fill in a medical questionnaire once booking is completed.

What should I bring?

In terms of kit, you will need to bring your own harness, shoes and belay devices- as you would on any climbing trip. You are welcome to bring your own rope, though we will have quick draws and ropes covered.

Holiday Format

The first two days of coaching will be provided by Leah, Ben and Robin. Each coach will be running workshops focussing on different aspects of climbing, with the aim of identifying your strengths and weaknesses and choosing projects for later in the week. Tuesday is a rest day, and our Roc star will be joining us in the evening for drinks and dinner and will be giving a little presentation about their climbing. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be spent climbing and being coached by the Roc star as well as Leah, Ben and Robin. Friday evening is the last night of the trip, and Roc Up will be providing a few drinks to celebrate a great week. Saturday you will be on your way back to the ferry for your flight home from Kos airport battered, bruised, possibly sunburnt and with no skin, but hopefully with some great ticks and loads of great memories.

What happens after I book?

We will send you a confirmation email with an invoice for the final payment. Final payment is due 56 days before your trip begins. You will be able to make this payment online, the same as paying your deposit. We will also send you a medical questionnaire to fill in, and will await documents confirming your flights and insurance. Please feel free to contact us at any time by emailing info@nullrocup.uk

We can also provide coaching sessions with Robin, Ben and Leah, and training programmes to get you in the best shape possible before the trip, just get in touch!

Is this trip for me?

If you are someone who loves climbing, wants to push yourself and wants to learn from some of the best, then yes – a RocUp Holiday is for you.

At RocUp we are dedicated in helping you improve and get your best climbing ticks to date. Ben, Leah and Robin are incredibly friendly in their approach to coaching you and the Rocstars have had huge contact time with all abilities too – understanding what changes you need to make in order to climb your project(s).
